Sadly due to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines for COVID-19, we were unable to have our Annual Celebrity Charity Bowling and Golf Tournament this year. However, it will return in May 2021! Coronavirus has not only changed our events this year, but it changed our purpose. We at the Ogden Family Foundation are still going to golf for a cause! Our 6th Annual Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament will benefit families affected by COVID-19 at our yearly Adopt-A-Family Event. This year underserved families will need extra help to make the Holidays possible for their children, and by participating in our golf tournament, you can make a difference in someone's life.

The Event

The Bowling Lanes

The Golf Club

The Siena Las Vegas golf club is a revival of the values and artistic styles fashioned by golf’s greatest courses. What’s more, Siena is a celebration of the Italian Culture. In the Tuscany-themed Siena at Summerlin, a focal point of the Siena Golf Club is Lake Siena, a quarter-mile-long lake with cascading waterfalls on the 1st hole of the golf course. The 13,500-square-foot Siena Golf Club features a full-service golf shop, locker rooms, multi-tiered practice facility and The Siena Bistro with a patio dining room overlooking Lake Siena.

The Charity

Is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the Las Vegas and Henderson area that was founded by Football Hall of Famer Jonathan Ogden and his wife Kema Ogden and established in 2007, born out of a need to help the underserved population in Southern Nevada. Our mission is to provide homeless, foster and at-risk youths, as well as underserved families, with programs and services that support families, unite communities and promote healthy lifestyles. We believe health is a full circle and cannot be complete without having a healthy body, healthy mind and healthy spirit.

BACKGROUND

A member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s class of 2013. Jonathan was enshrined as member 277 into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. Jonathan is a former NFL football player with the Baltimore Ravens. The fourth pick in the 1996 NFL Draft, he was the first selection by the Ravens organization and played his entire career, 12 seasons, in Baltimore. He was an 11 time Pro Bowl selection and received All Pro honors 6 times. Based on the NFL Network’s list of the 100 greatest players of all time, Jonathan was listed as #72. He was a member of Super Bowl XXXV Champion Team. Ogden announced his retirement on June 12, 2008 and was inducted into the Ravens Ring of Honor on October 26, 2008.

Born in Washington, D.C., Jonathan attended St. Albans School where he was an All American in not only football but the shot put as well. He played college football at UCLA where he received the Outland Trophy, the Morris

Trophy, and was a unanimous first team All American. Jonathan also won the 1996 NCAA Indoor Championship in the shot put with a personal best of 19.42 Meters. In 2006, Ogden was inducted to UCLA Athletics Hall Of Fame and had his jersey (#79) retired only the eighth player in Bruins' history to receive that honor. In 2012 Jonathan was induction into the College Hall of Fame Class of 2012.Ogden spends his time serving the Ogden Family Foundation in Las Vegas all while working on his golf game.
